Used barrels are sold as-is after cleaning and basic inspection — they may have cosmetic dents, faded labels, or minor scratches. Reconditioned barrels undergo triple-rinsing, pressure testing, exterior painting, and new gaskets. Reconditioned drums are cleaner and suitable for more applications.
