Open head steel drums feature a removable lid secured by a bolt ring. They are ideal for solids, pastes, food ingredients, and waste materials where full access is required. Closed head steel drums have two bung openings (2-inch and 3/4-inch) and are designed for liquids, oils, solvents, and chemicals. Both configurations are in stock.
For shipping dangerous goods, BarrelSales.com offers UN 1A1 (closed head) and UN 1A2 (open head) certified steel drums. These meet DOT and international hazardous materials transport regulations.
